Hood & Dagger Productions Inc. is a not-for-profit Community Theatre company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our mission is to bring high-quality theatrical productions to our local community and provide opportunities for artists to showcase their talent. We are dedicated to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and creativity through our work.



Role Description


This is a volunteer role for a Board Member at Hood & Dagger Productions Inc. The Board Member will actively participate in board meetings and decision-making processes. They will collaborate with other board members to develop and implement strategic plans, oversee financial management, assist in fundraising efforts, and support the organization's mission and goals. While the role is primarily located in Winnipeg, Board Members may join meetings by Zoom as well.



Directors & Officers Insurance has been acquired, and an indemnity clause is included in the By-Laws.

Qualifications



  • Passion for the arts and commitment to the organization's mission

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

  • Experience in fundraising, marketing, accounting, or grant writing is an asset

Board meetings will occur approximately 6 times per year and will occur in Winnipeg, though remote Zoom options to participate are possible.
