About
We support groups and individuals in the voluntary sector to develop and enhance their capacity to anticipate, understand, celebrate, and meet community needs in Manitoba. Our vital contributions to the community include connecting people with volunteer opportunities, promoting volunteerism, and providing leadership and counsel in the non-profit and voluntary sector.
Our Work
- We monitor trends, gather knowledge, build capacity, and share information.
- We recognize successes, challenges, and opportunities in the non-profit sector - and we provide solutions.
- We represent volunteers and reflect the collective voice of Manitoba nonprofits, charities and community groups.
- We encourage and celebrate volunteerism - and understand the value of giving back to communities in Manitoba.

Territory Acknowledgment
Volunteer Manitoba is located on the original lands of Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and on the homeland of the Métis Nation. We respect the Treaties that were made on these territories, we acknowledge the harms and mistakes of the past, and we dedicate ourselves to move forward in partnership with Indigenous communities in a spirit of reconciliation and collaboration.
