Volunteer Manitoba recognizes the challenges that non-profits and charities face when it comes to the maintenance of their volunteer programs. To address those challenges we offer extensive training in volunteer management, access to the latest trends and research, and staff who have expertise and hands-on experience in the field of volunteer management.

Volunteer Manitoba offers training in volunteer management to help organizations manage and build their volunteer programs. Our training is based on the principles of the Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement and is for anyone who works with, manages and/or supports volunteer engagement within their organization.

Certified in Volunteer Administration (CVA) Credential:

Points earned from attending Volunteer Manitoba's Volunteer Management training, webinars, or conference workshops can be applied towards the education requirement for initial CVA Certification or CVA Renewal. CVA certification is the only internationally recognized credential in the field of Volunteer Administration. To learn more, visit: www.cvacert.org.

Group Training

At Volunteer Manitoba, we recognize that organizations sometimes require training to address their unique needs. If you need to train your entire group or organization, our training can be brought to you.

Volunteer Manitoba's team of expert facilitators, located across the province, can deliver cost-effective, group training for your staff, board and committees. The training would be delivered for a fixed fee at a mutually convenient time and location to meet your organization's needs.
