Description of Duties:

As a Fundraising and Grant Writers Coordinator, your duties would typically include:


1. Developing Fundraising Strategies: Collaborate with the CEO and other team members to develop fundraising strategies aligned with the organization's goals and mission.


2. Grant Research and Identification: Research potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other sources that align with the NGO's programs and initiatives.


3. Grant Proposal Writing: Prepare compelling grant proposals and applications, ensuring they meet the requirements and guidelines of each funding opportunity. This includes crafting narratives, budgets, and supporting documents.


4. Grant Management: Manage the grant application process from start to finish, including tracking deadlines, gathering necessary documentation, and submitting applications on time.


5. Donor Cultivation and Stewardship: Cultivate relationships with existing and potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations. This may involve writing donor communications, organizing donor appreciation events, and stewarding donor relationships.


6. Fundraising Campaign Coordination: Coordinate fundraising campaigns and events, such as online crowdfunding campaigns, gala dinners, charity auctions, and awareness-raising events. This includes planning, promotion, logistics, and coordination of volunteers and staff.


7. Database Management: Maintain accurate records of donors, grants, and fundraising activities using a donor management system or database software. This includes tracking donations, generating reports, and analyzing fundraising metrics.


8. Collaboration with Program Staff: Work closely with program staff to gather information and data needed for grant proposals and reports, ensuring alignment between fundraising activities and program objectives.


9. *Grant Reporting and Compliance*: Prepare and submit timely and accurate grant reports to funders, highlighting the impact of funded programs and activities. Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and grant agreements.


10. Evaluation and Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising strategies and campaigns, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and inform future fundraising efforts.


11. Stay Informed on Trends: Stay informed about trends and best practices in fundraising, grant writing, and nonprofit management, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the organization's fundraising efforts.
