09:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Brand new for Volunteer Manitoba - we are offering a Level 2 workshop on Non-Profit Bookkeeping!

Building upon the foundational knowledge from the Level 1 or your basic understanding of Bookkeeping, this session will take a deeper dive into the intricacies of setting up and maintaining an effective bookkeeping system for non-profit organizations. We will explore real-world case studies to better understand the challenges and best practices in non-profit accounting.

Having proper bookkeeping practices is essential for the success and sustainability of any non-profit. During this workshop, you will gain a fundamental understanding of bookkeeping principles and key accounting terms. We will explore the significance of maintaining accurate records, establishing streamlined processes, implementing internal control policies, and ensuring the prompt recognition of revenue and expenses through real examples.

Who should attend?

This workshop is recommended for non-profit staff and volunteers who are responsible for the bookkeeping within the organization, and have a basic understanding of bookkeeping.
