Organizational Description: Vybe Network is a social enterprise with a focus on the development of creative community. With an artist first approach, we aim to create opportunities for emerging artists and bridge the gap between them and established industry entities. We also aim to highlight underrepresented and non-performance based artforms locally. Our goal is to ensure that each artist that works with our brand notices both long and short term benefits in their artistic endeavors/careers.

Description of Duties:

A Board Director provides governance, strategic oversight, and responsibility to ensure the organization fulfills its mission in a sustainable, ethical, and inclusive manner. Directors act in the best interest of the organization and the communities it serves, supporting artistic programming, organizational development, and long-term vision without engaging in day-to-day operations.

  • Uphold and advance the organization's mission, vision, and values

  • Provide strategic guidance and long-term planning support

  • Exercise oversight, including financial stewardship and risk management

  • Ensure legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance

  • Support the development and evaluation of policies and governance practices
