Description of Duties:

Be Part of the Action at Winnipeg Winterfest!


Winnipeg Winterfest is a thrilling multi-sport winter competition featuring floorball, speed skating, snowshoeing, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, curling and 5-pin bowling! We need passionate volunteers like you to help make this event a success. Sign up today and be part of the excitement!


Event Details:


Event Date: February 21, 2026


Time: 9am - 4:30pm (all sports/roles except speed skating, alpine ski and Healthy Athletes)


Speed Skating Time: 12:00pm - 4:30pm


Alpine Ski Time: 9am - 3pm



Sports: Floorball, snowshoe, & speed skating


General Volunteers: Lunch, Awards, Announcer, Security, Parking, Access Control


Healthy Athletes: Discipline TBD Time: TBD

All volunteers must be 14 years or older

  • Interest in supporting a fun, inclusive community event

  • Skills or experience in a specific sport are an asset, but not required for all roles

  • Many roles require no prior experience

  • Experience working in sport or with individuals with intellectual disabilities is an asset

  • Health care experience is an asset for roles supporting Healthy Athletes

  • Friendly, reliable, and willing to work as part of a team
