| Description of Duties: | Alpha House Project is seeking passionate and committed volunteer board members to support our mission of empowering families impacted by family violence. Board members play a vital role in providing leadership, advocating for the organization in their communities, and helping secure the resources needed to advance our work. Board Member Expectations: Attend monthly in-person board meetings (third Wednesday of each month). Commit to approximately 4 hours per month. Understand and support Alpha House's mission, programs, and financial goals. Participate on a committee or task force. Respect and elevate diverse voices and perspectives around the board table. |
| Skills Required: | Believe in the power of strong board leadership. Bring experience in disciplines such as PR, fundraising, HR, finance, etc. along with a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Are willing to actively engage as advocates, ambassadors, and connectors for Alpha House. |
