Description of Duties:

Swimmingly MB is a community aquatics program serving Manitoba, with operations in Brandon. We're looking for a Volunteer Supervisor to help coordinate our Sunday evening swim sessions.


In this role, you will:




  • Organize and support volunteers to ensure each swimmer has assistance during class



  • Communicate with parents, including managing payments, consent forms, and attendance



  • Help ensure every class runs smoothly and efficiently



  • Collaborate with instructors and program leads to support a positive learning environment
   
Skills Required:


  • Strong organizational and communication skills



  • Comfort interacting with parents, volunteers, and youth participants



  • Interest in aquatics or community recreation is an asset
   
Skills Gained/Related Careers:


  • Leadership and coordination experience



  • Event and volunteer management



  • Communication and customer service skills



  • Related fields: Recreation Management, Education, Kinesiology, Aquatics, Non-Profit Administration

  • 2.5 hours per week (Sunday evenings)

  • October-December and January-April (aligned with the academic calendar, 11 weeks per session)
