Description of Duties: | Duties vary depending on the role you sign-up for. Roles include: - Ticket Checker (confirm attendee tickets) - Glove Runner (exchange used and new gloves for boxers) - Gloving Table Attendant (clean & organize gloves) - Ring Set-up Helper (assist with set-up of boxing ring) - Ring Takedown Helper (assist with tear down of boxing ring) - 50/50 Ticket Seller (exchange money for tickets) - Event Runner (assist as needed, hand out pamphlets, clean as needed, etc) |
Skills Required: | Skills vary depending on the role you sign-up for. Roles include: - Ticket Checker (attention to detail, personable, honest, access to smart phone) - Glove Runner (attention to detail, organized, good communication skills) - Gloving Table Attendant (attention to detail, organized, good communication skills, following cleaning protocols) - Ring Set-up Helper (physically fit, teamwork, follow directions, understanding of basic tools like screwdrivers/wrenches) - Ring Takedown Helper (physically fit, teamwork, follow directions, understanding of basic tools like screwdrivers/wrenches) - 50/50 Ticket Seller (honest, integrity, math skills, personable, outgoing) - Event Runner (personable, good communication skills) |

Time Commitment: | Daytime , Evening , Weekend Competition takes place from November 26th to 29th. Wednesday to Friday have two sessions each (afternoon & evening), while Saturday has one session. Each shift is 2.5 hours, with set-up and take-down shifts being 3 hours. Volunteers are welcome to sign-up for one session or multiple, over one or more days. |
