Organizational Description:	Student Catalyst Gateway (SCG) is a purpose-driven, tech-enabled not-for-profit start-up dedicated to reimagining the transition from education to employment for post-secondary students, with a core focus on Indigenous, International, and Racialized learners. SCG provides personalized, culturally responsive, and affordable support services including career coaching, interview preparation, immigration and settlement guidance, financial literacy education, and well-being counselling. By blending AI-powered tools with human-centred coaching, we deliver scalable, equity-informed solutions such as our FutureProof eModules, wraparound counselling, and career readiness programming. Description of Duties:	Deadline extended to 10-03-2025 What You'll Do As a Student Ambassador, you will: Represent SCG at employer events and recruitment fairs Engage with students and promote SCG's services on campus and online Use social media to build awareness and spark interest in our programs Coordinate and deliver presentations, workshops, and info sessions Leverage your interpersonal skills to connect with and inspire your peers Why Join This is more than a role, it's a launchpad for your future. As an SCG Student Ambassador, you will: Network with potential employers and industry leaders Gain hands-on experience in event coordination and public speaking Strengthen your leadership, communication, and outreach skills Build a powerful professional network that supports your career journey

Skills Required:	Ideal Candidate We are looking for students who are: Outgoing, approachable, and enthusiastic about helping others succeed Active on social media and comfortable creating engaging content Strong communicators who enjoy public speaking and peer engagement Interested in career development, leadership, and equity-focused initiatives Reliable, professional, and able to commit a few hours each month to SCG activities Qualifications Interpersonal Skills and Communication Skills Experience with Presentations and Education Proficiency in Social Media management and engagement Strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by equity-deserving students Passion for student advocacy and support Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment Previous volunteer experience is a plus
