Organizational Description: Since 1971, with incredible donor support, Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba has raised more than $265 million to help children get the best care experience possible by funding leading edge equipment, improved healthcare spaces, and child and family-focused programs in hospital at HSC Children's Hospital - Manitoba's only Children's Hospital. The Foundation also supports more than 300 world-class pediatric medical researchers, at our Children's Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba, involved in nearly $20 million of research and clinical trial activity each year with the goal of ground-breaking cures and clinically-proven supports for pediatric care in Manitoba and around the world.

Description of Duties:

This exciting family event relies on volunteers. Be part of the 36th annual Teddy Bears' Picnic by sharing your time and talent.

Areas we're looking for volunteers include:
- Happy Hands (craft) Tent: Help facilitate open-ended crafts
- Face Painting Tent: Paint attendee faces using the simple guides
- Games Corner: Facilitate and help teach families how to play fun yard games.
- Tent Monitors: Welcome attendees, ensure supplies are stocked, and the tent's cleanliness maintained.
- Pancake Breakfast Servers: Assist with handing out beverages, food, and ensuring syrup station is stocked.
- Pancake Breakfast Hospitality Crew: Help maintain a welcoming and clean area for families to enjoy their pancake breakfast.
- Event Support Crew: Provide break coverage when needed, run supplies to where they're needed, provide general support to the tents and the tent leads.

Shifts requiring volunteers:
Sunday, September 7th - 8:00am-12:30pm (Event Day)
Sunday, September 7th - 12:30pm-5:00pm (Event Day)
Sunday, September 7th - 4:00pm-9:00pm (Event Day)
