| Description of Duties: | Community Nutrition Educators (CNEs) are trained volunteers who provide reliable, unbiased, and current information on healthy eating and food to the community. CNEs work with a variety of people and groups in all community areas of Winnipeg. Some examples of activities and topics include: |

Micro Volunteering - any self contained volunteer opportunity that can be completed in a short amount of time, often through a web-enabled device. Be available to attend 28+ hours training during business hours, training shifts approximately 4 hours, once weekly (start date pending mid-September) Shifts are negotiated based on community requests, successful candidates must fulfill 3 requests per year, and commit to a minimum of one year. Shifts are typically 2 hours in length. |
