Description of Duties:

We are seeking a Bilingual Community Outreach Presenter: As the Bilingual Community Outreach Presenter, you will present to French-speaking audience on the benefits of volunteering and current volunteer opportunities individuals and/or groups can apply for after your presentation. Presentations happen in schools, community centres, and workplaces. We have the material; you bring energy and passion!


This position is seasonal from September - November 2025, after which you can decide to continue volunteering with us.


Description of duties:



  • Deliver engaging presentations to encourage various audiences including youth, newcomers, seniors and corporate audiences to volunteer by doing presentations on the benefits of volunteering.

  • Highlight available volunteer opportunities that are available on Volunteer Manitoba's website.

  • Create awareness of the services we offer at Volunteer Manitoba.

  • Coordinate Presentation Logistics.

  • Collate statistics from each outreach event that will be used to support the documentation of project activities in the annual report.

   
Skills Required:

  • Preference will be given to applicants who are comfortable with public speaking.

  • Has strong French and English verbal and written communication skills.

  • Friendly and engaging.

  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office tools.

  • Asset Required:

  • Access to a reliable vehicle and 5F driver's license or feels comfortable traveling by bus to various community organizations and schools.

  • Make connections with various non-profits and charities in Manitoba.

  • Gain experience providing support to others in a professional setting.

  • Improve your networking skills.

  • Teacher, social worker, communications specialist, public speaking or public relations.
