| Description of Duties: | Role Overview As an Exhibition Host, you'll be the welcoming face of the Home & Fine Arts Talent Exhibition. From guiding exhibitors and collecting entries to assisting with setup and visitor engagement, you'll play a key role in creating an organized, inclusive, and enjoyable experience for all exhibitors, demonstrators, & fairgoers. Key Responsibilities Exhibitor Support: - Greet exhibitors dropping off their submissions (e.g., home goods, art, crafts) - Collect entry forms and fees, or guide them to their category area - Assist with table setup and placement of entries while maintaining a respectful and supportive environment Event Navigation: - Help direct guests to different parts of the exhibition - Answer general visitor questions with kindness and clarity - Support live demonstrators and dog breed demonstrators with basic setup tasks Judging & Logistics: - Provide support during the judging process, including organizing materials and keeping areas clear - Assist with exhibition setup and takedown at the start and close of the fair |
