Description of Duties:

Be the Festival's Orchestrator! Team Leaders Needed


Do you have a passion for leadership and ensuring events run smoothly? We're looking for enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our Team Leader crew, the festival's backbone! As a Team Leader, you'll be the on-site supervisor for a dedicated group of volunteers, playing a vital role in creating a successful and enjoyable festival for everyone.




  • Motivational Maestro: Set a positive and encouraging tone for your team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.


  • Shift Shepherd: Ensure all volunteers on your team sign in and out for their assigned shifts.


  • Taskmaster (the good kind!): Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring your team members understand their roles and have the resources they need to succeed.


  • Problem-Solving Pro: Anticipate and address any challenges that may arise within your team, providing guidance and support.


  • Communication Champion: Clearly communicate instructions and updates from festival management to your team members.


  • Festival Fanatic: Represent the festival spirit with enthusiasm and ensure your team has a positive and rewarding volunteer experience.




Please note: Team Leaders will be assigned to oversee specific volunteer teams (e.g., Safety, Kitchen, Set-Up/Tear-Down) and will report to the respective Festival Director or Department Head.

   
Skills Required:

  • Strong leaders with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


  • Highly organized and detail-oriented individuals who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.


  • Encouraging and patient with a positive and can-do attitude.


  • Able to effectively delegate and ensure volunteers feel valued and supported.


  • Familiar with festival operations (a plus, but not mandatory).

   
Skills Gained/Related Careers:

Expect to work between 10-20 hours during the 5-day festival, with plenty of time to enjoy the festivities yourself!
