Organizational Description: Empowering EveryMind is dedicated to helping children and caregivers overcome barriers to accessible mental health resources and support. As a non-profit social services organization, we offer individualized assistance to individuals and families living with mental health challenges and neurological or cognitive differences.

Vision: For all individuals and families living with neurodevelopmental differences to feel supported, empowered, and positively connected to their family and community.

Mission: To provide inclusive, disability-informed education, support, and programming for individuals and families living with neurodevelopmental differences, and collaborate with community partners to help people thrive.

Description of Duties:

- Attend and participate in monthly board meetings


- Engage in establishing, reviewing, and monitoring organization's policies and procedures


- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services


- Build community partnerships that support organizational growth


- Participate in strategic planning and enhancing our public image


- Collaborate with the CEO to monitor operations and progress, including financial activity and legal obligations


- Establish strong working relationship with other Board members


- Maintain confidentiality

   
Skills Required:

- Strong written and spoken communication skills


- Computer literacy in Microsoft


- Time management


- Problem solving


We are especially looking for people with experience in:


- Social Work and/or a related field.


- Accounting and/or CPA


- Working with and/or having lived experience as a neurodivergent individual


- Non-profit work and/or volunteering


-Fundraising and/or grant writing
