Description of Duties: | Engage and Inform Residents - Greet homeowners politely, explain the organization's goals, and make a concise pitch about the candies (including flavors, prices, and any fundraising purpose). Process Transactions - Handle cash or mobile payments, provide accurate change/receipts, and maintain a daily log of sales to reconcile inventory and funds. Manage Inventory on the Move - Start each shift with a stock list, track items sold, and store remaining candies to maintain log. Follow Safety & Compliance Protocols - Respect "No Soliciting" signs, adhere to local bylaws or permit requirements, carry visible ID, and practice personal safety. |
Skills Required: | Communication Skills - Clear, friendly, and persuasive speaking; active listening. Sales & Persuasion Techniques - Gain firsthand experience in motivating action and handling objections. Active Listening & Empathy - Understand how to connect with people and tailor messages to their interests or concerns.
