Description of Duties: | The next cohort of RISE runs from: August 11 - November 22, 2025. Deadline to apply is July 06 2025 Want to become more involved in your community and Canada's democratic process? Want to meet other passionate youth who want to make a change? Sounds like this is the opportunity for you! RISE is a 15 week program where you will get the opportunity to co-create and implement a community project. Working with a small group of youth and an experienced program coordinator you will have access to skill-building, workshops, networking opportunities, and a $4000 budget that will support you in bringing your ideas to life. RISE is designed for young people with little to no previous experience in volunteering. We mean it! You don't need to have ANY previous experience to join! What you can expect from RISE

If you're between the ages of 18 and 30 years old and live in or near one of our hub cities, RISE is your chance to learn about community work, build confidence, and make new connections in a supportive environment. Time Commitment: | Evening Ambassadors are expected to attend a three hour in-person meeting every week for the duration of the program. The meeting will take place on a Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday evening from 6:00pm - 9:00pm (day of the week to be chosen by the Ambassadors). Ambassadors are expected to contribute an additional three hours of time outside of the in-person meetings. |
