Description of Duties:

We're creating a small but mighty team to help tell the stories of our underdogs and keep our community connected and engaged. Each role has its own focus, but together, you'll work as a team to make sure our messaging is consistent, creative, and impactful. Whether you're a wordsmith, a visual storyteller, or a community connector, there's a spot for you to make a real difference.

What you'll do:

  • Write emails that keep our supporters in the loop about new dogs, upcoming events, and urgent needs.

  • Pair up with the Graphic Designer to add a little visual magic to your words.

  • Check out how our emails are performing and brainstorm ways to get more eyes (and hearts) on them.

  • Stay organized with a simple content calendar - we won't overload you!

Skills Required:

What we're looking for:

  • A friendly, conversational writing style - we want emails to feel personal, not pushy.

  • Experience with email platforms like MailChimp (or a willingness to learn).

  • Ability to keep track of what's going out and when - staying organized is key.

  • A love for storytelling and a desire to connect people to our mission in a way that feels real and relatable.
