| Skills Gained/Related Careers: | By working with the Women's Musical Club of Winnipeg, board member gain valuable experience in non-profit governance and financial oversight while contributing to the success of Manitoba's longest-standing cultural organization. Through this role, member can develop skills in budgeting, financial reporting, and strategic planning, as well as collaboration with community partners and oversight of scholarship and event-related disbursements. Member also build confidence in digital tools, including Wix website management, and grow as ethical leaders through meaningful decision-making that directly supports the province's emerging musical talent. Serving on the WMC board is both a professional development opportunity and a way to make a lasting impact in the arts community. |
