| Description of Duties: | Burn Camp Phoenix provides an opportunity for youth between 6-17yrs who have survived a burn or frostbite injury to share in a positive camping experience where individuals are accepted and respected. This year camp is running from July 8th-12th at Lake Brereton (in the Whiteshell area). We are looking for volunteers to fill a variety of roles including camp counselors, working in the kitchen, organizing/executing activities, First Aid/CPR, life guarding, etc. |
| Skills Required: | Volunteers need to be able to display a positive attitude, relate well with others, can work as part of a team, can complete responsibilities and delegated tasks, demonstrates emotional maturity, and displays sensitivity to the needs of children. In addition, applicants who have the following would be an asset: Lifeguard/water safety certification, First Aid/CPR certification, Pleasure Craft Operator certification, Food Handling certification. |
