Entry Ambassador

Role: Enhancing the health and safety of patients at Misericordia Health Centre by assisting clients and guiding them to their designated clinical area
Other duties:

Support Security at the Cornish or Wolseley entrances
Provide directions/maps to those needing assistance/walk or push wheelchairs to
treatment clinics/program as needed.
Distribute facility brochures/information as needed
Look for and retrieve missing Staxies and bring them back to your station
Adhere to MHC and provincial policies
Abide by the Personal Health Information Act (PHIA) and PPE protocols
Report any absences to the appropriate supervisors
Report concerns in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

- Learn how to porter patients
- See processes of how different departments in the health Centre operate
- Experience working with patients with a wide range of ages and backgrounds
- Exposure to various health care professions.

Shift information:
Cornish entrance - seven days a week, morning, afternoon, and evenings shifts (from 9am-8pm)

Wolseley entrance - Monday-Friday morning and afternoons shifts (from 9am-4:30pm)
