Description of Duties:

WILD Outside is a national conservation-based youth leadership program designed for youth ages 15-18 whether you are in high school or no longer attending. It is free to participate and fully inclusive.

   
Skills Required:

- Being outdoors
- Working with other youth
- Providing service around the community
- Excitement for learning and trying new things

- If needed, youth may apply for funding for child care during programming
- Can provide cost to cover transportation if needed (ex. bus tickets)

   
Skills Gained/Related Careers:

By participating in this unique and flexible program young Canadians will experience opportunities for personal growth while developing and encouraging their own "conservation ethic."

Learning alongside their peers from our CWF facilitators, youth who join in the WILD Outside program will enjoy opportunities for outdoor adventure and immersive nature experiences.

They will also connect with other local participants in the planning and delivery of community-based conservation service projects in their own community designed to have a positive impact on their local environment.
