Seniors' Meals on Wheels Delivery

The Kosher Meals on Wheels program program where volunteers deliver warm nutritious meals and a smile to clients on a pre-established route and:
- Pick up meals are either Gwen Secter (north end routes) or The Rady Center (central/ south end routes) and deliver meals on easy to follow routes
- report anything out of the ordinary to the Resource Coordinators.

-Hold a valid Manitoba Driver License with access to a reliable vehicle
-Must be polite and considerate
-Must be able to take direction and follow through without supervision
-Knowledge of the street plan of Winnipeg or access to reliable GPS
-Enjoy helping others

Volunteers can work in teams of two, making this an ideal opportunity for friends, couples, families, groups and organizations. We encourage family volunteering and employer supported volunteering.
Volunteers benefit from connecting with community, knowing that they are part of a great team who make a difference.
Learning about available social services in Winnipeg

-Flexible, depending on volunteer availability.
-Usually between 10 am-2 p.m, with flexibility, depending on volunteer availability
(1 hour - shifts, 2-3 x per week, Tuesdays and Fridays, but possible additional days).
-Volunteers usually commit to one week (Tuesday & Friday shift) per month.
