Publicity Director - Board Position

The time commitment is minimal, the impact is immeasurable. Duties for the Publicity Director include, but are not limited to:
- Publicizing events, programs and other communications as directed by the board or any sub-committees via social media (Facebook and Instagram) and the VGCC website
- Working closely with the Board of Directors, Sub-Committees and the Club General Manager to ensure announcements and community updates are released in a timely fashion via social media and email
- Updating the VGCC website periodically to ensure relevant and accurate information is being shared with the community
- Attend monthly board meetings
- Attend club initiated events

With this position, will have a seat on the Board of Directors, which in turn gives you a voice on how the club moves forward. Please consider joining our dynamic group as we move forward to grow and improve our club and our programs.

No special skills required, training will be provided. However, being social media savvy, personable, approachable and organized will be an asset.

Collaborating with in a group dynamic and holding a board of directors seat. Leadership skills, experience in social media marketing, written communications and community service.

Hours are varied and dependent on what club events and programs are happening. Will be required to attend monthly board meetings, along with attendance to any club initiated event.
