What Donors Want - How to Find, Attract and Retain Donors for a Lifetime

October 30, 2019
09:00 AM to 04:00 PM

The greatest threat facing nonprofits in Canada today is paltry donor retention rates. Out of every 10 new donors you gain, you can kiss 8 goodbye. And half of the donors who decide to stick with you will leave within a few years. So what's the problem? Awful stewardship. Nonprofits fail to love their donors. They fail to surprise and delight them. And they fail to give value to the people they rely on most - generous, busy, self-centred, caring donors looking for easy ways to do good. Make no mistake: stewarding your donors is a strategy with high returns. But failing to do so will deal a debilitating blow to your ability to deliver on your mission. This full-day workshop focuses on creating a donor-centred mindset and provides proven, tested and actionable strategies to keep donors connected - and giving! - throughout their lifetime.
