Wondering what it's like to volunteer? Prairie Strides edition!

Are you curious about volunteering, but not sure what to expect?

That question is exactly what inspired our "Inside Scoop" series! In this series, we'll explore different volunteer opportunities and hear directly from the people who know them best, giving you an inside look at what volunteering is really like.

Meet Christina, Executive Director of Prairie Strides Inc., as she gives us the inside scoop on what it means to volunteer with Prairie Strides. She shares how much the organization relies on its dedicated volunteers and highlights the variety of roles and opportunities available to those aged 15 and up, depending on the role and individual abilities.

Christina shares how volunteer sessions run in Spring and Fall, including details about the upcoming Fall session. Training begins in late August and volunteer commitments run from September through November.

Whether you're passionate about supporting children, or simply have a love for horses, there are many ways to get involved and make a positive difference at Prairie Strides.

So, what are you waiting for? Take the first step, get involved, and discover where volunteering can take you!

Coming up, we will hear more from Prairie Strides volunteer, Mel. Mel will explain the meaningful impact volunteering has had and how it all started.
