| Description of Duties: | Opportunities for the Manitoba Amateur Boxing Provincials include many roles required for hosting a boxing competition. Roles vary from glove table attendants, wristband and ticket checkers, cleaners, ring set-up, ring teardown, snack table attendants and more. Must be able to get to 1874 Main St. for their given shift. Ring set-up and teardown volunteers should be physically fit and able to lift heavy boards and materials used to construct the boxing ring. |

| Skills Gained/Related Careers: | Potential for new skills in boxing ring-assembly, customer service, teamwork, time-management, communication, and more. Experience in this provincial-level competition can be applied to future careers in sport/event management, sales, and potentially as a ring caretaker. |

| Time Commitment: | Daytime , Evening , Weekend Event takes place on Saturday, October 10th and Sunday, October 11th, 2026. Ring set-up would take place early Saturday morning (approximately 8 am), ring teardown would be on Sunday immediately following the end of competition (approximately between 4-6 pm). Other volunteer positions take place during the competition hours. Doors open for the event at 12 pm with bouts starting at 1 pm. End time is approximately between 3 pm and 5 pm. |
