| Description of Duties: | Parade Route Safety Walkers will help support a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone attending the Santa Claus Parade.Volunteers will work in teams of two and walk along the parade route near the curb, helping to encourage spectators - especially children - to remain safely on the sidewalk and out of the path of floats, vehicles, marching groups, and other parade participants. This is an active walking safety role. Volunteers will travel along the parade route rather than being stationed at one specific block. |
