Description of Duties:

  • The Prairie Garden Publications Inc. is seeking a mature individual who has an interest in updating and researching social media of a gardening nature.

  • Duties include updating our association's gardening Facebook and Instagram pages regularly.

  • Seek out other online venues for the association to post our media.

  • Have initiative to search for gardening related Facebook groups to post our annual book and activities every couple of weeks.

  • Our territories are the prairie provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northwest Ontario along with the American states of North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota but not limited to those areas.

  • Travel is definitely NOT required. All can be done from the comfort of your home.

  • We request that you be self-initiative with research of subscriptions, newsletters, contact people etc. who may post our press releases and book articles for our association.

  • Having some knowledge and interest in gardening is helpful but you are not required to be a Master Gardener.

  • Willing to be part of a board and attend a once monthly two hour Zoom meeting with the organization and prepare a report of progress every two months.
