| Description of Duties: | Herizons is seeking a Social Media Presenter Volunteer to help create and manage content across our digital platforms. This position offers a unique learning opportunity under the mentorship of Joanne Roberts, Board Member and Lead Social Media Presenter. The year-long mentorship will be focused on finding strong stories, identifying angles, adapting larger ideas for short-form platforms, and creating social content with substance, personality, and a clear point of view. The successful candidate will be interested in feminist journalism and storytelling. They will also be encouraged to bring their own short-form storytelling, creative projects, or questions into the mentorship for feedback and guidance. This role is based in Winnipeg. While the majority of the work will be completed online, the volunteer must be available to attend occasional in-person meetings for collaborative planning and content creation. The commitment for this position is 1 year. |
