Description of Duties:

Community Engagement: Answer questions on posts, address complaints, and reply to any comments. Help to increase our online presence, engagement, and followers.


Content Publishing: Create engaging content for our social media platforms, including scheduling and posting text, images, and videos. Work with the Media Representative to coordinate appropriate messaging.


Brand Protection: Review incoming posts and comments, remove harmful content, and ensure brand safety. Work with the Media Representative to address public relations issues or negative feedback proactively.


Trend Monitoring: Keep track of new online trends, platform algorithm updates, and popular hashtags.


Campaign Tracking: Review engagement metrics like "likes," "shares," and "comments" to see which content works best.

   
Skills Required:

Education: None required, but a bachelor's degree or diploma in communications, media communications, public relations, or marketing would be beneficial.


Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for promoting the organization positively through social media outlets.


Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with traditional Microsoft software, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc. Ability to use social media platforms appropriately. Experience using graphic design and visual productivity platforms, such as Canva, would be an asset.


Networking: Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for social media and connecting with others.
