Description of Duties:

We invite you to volunteer with us at this year's SuperWalk!


SuperWalk is Parkinson's largest annual fundraiser, raising vital funds for support, advocacy, and research for people living with and impacted by Parkinson's.


The Logistics Lead supports the execution of SuperWalk by helping prepare the event site and ensuring all logistics are in place for event day. This role includes coordinating event setup, organizing materials, supporting vendor arrivals and needs, completing local pickups, and ensuring supplies are ready for participants and volunteers. The Logistics Lead will also help delegate and support volunteers on event day to ensure a smooth, organized, and successful SuperWalk experience.


What does this role look like?


Key responsibilities of the Logistics Lead include:



  • Represent Parkinson Canada in the best light possible to the community

  • Ensure Parkinson Canada event participants have a positive overall experience at Parkinson Canada events and feel valued for their support of the organization

  • Provide leadership and oversight of the logistical needs of the event

  • Work as part of the team to stage a low cost or no cost event to help reduce the cost of fundraising and divert more funds toward the Parkinson Canada mission

  • Take, handle, use, and store any information that is considered personal/private in a manner aligned with the policies and procedures of Parkinson Canada

  • Work cooperatively with all members of the committee, event-day volunteers, and Parkinson Canada staff

  • Ensure site plan is distributed to all event committee members/leads

  • Provide regular reports to the Committee and Parkinson Canada staff as requested

  • Attend SuperWalk and oversee set up, trouble shoot throughout the day, oversee tear down, clean-up, and return of equipment

Time Commitment
The Morden Parkinson Canada SuperWalk is scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2026, with activities taking place between 10:00am and 12:30pm. The time commitment for this opportunity varies according SuperWalk activities and your availability. Logistic Leads must be available for the duration of the event. Applicants will be contacted closer to the event to confirm their shift time, role, and event details.
