Organizational Description:	The Manitoba Table Tennis Association has been operating since 1960 always working to develop Table Tennis in the province of Manitoba. We do everything related to Table Tennis: Manitoban Tournaments, Leagues, Events, Provincial Team, National Competition and International.

Description of Duties:	We are looking for dedicated volunteers for the week of July 17-23, 2026. Manitoba will be hosting the nation's best players at The Canadian Table Tennis National Championships at the University of Winnipeg Duckworth Centre. We have several shifts available throughout the week, morning 8am-1pm, afternoon 1pm-5pm and evening 5pm-10pm. We also have a variety of positions available as follows. July 17-23, 2026 - Competition Days Entrance Desk • Welcome athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators • Check accreditation and direct participants to venues • Provide general event information and schedules Umpire Area • Support umpires with their meals • Distribute snacks • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the umpire area Sponsors Area • Support sponsor booths and activations • Ensure sponsor visibility and materials are properly displayed • Sell MTTA merchandise Entertainment Area • Distribute MTTA program information VIP Section • Welcome VIP guests and dignitaries • Maintain access control to VIP seating and lounge areas • Provide assistance and coordinate with event management Court Supervision • Monitor assigned courts and ensure match readiness • Monitor only players and coaches are in the playing area. Control Desk • Central communication hub for officials and volunteers • Coordinate match flow, court changes, and announcements • Assist the tournament director as needed Tournament Software Control • Operate and update tournament software • Enter match results and manage draws • Coordinate closely with umpires and control desk Practice Area Supervision • Monitor practice courts and schedules • Ensure fair rotation and safe use of tables • Assist athletes and coaches with practice-related questions Why join us?
