| Description of Duties: | We are recruiting members for our Fundraising & Communications Committee. The purpose of the Fundraising & Communications Committee is to increase awareness and enhance the Manitoba Lung Association's profile, stakeholder relationships, and fundraising capacity by providing strategic guidance to the Board of Directors on matters related to communications, marketing, public relations, fund development, donor relations, and stakeholder engagement. Increased revenue generation and intentional messaging efforts are intended to build organizational capacity and sustainability to better support lung health outcomes for Manitobans. The Committee provides strategic oversight and advice aligned with the Manitoba Lung Association's strategic plan, approved brand and messaging framework, and long-term revenue sustainability goals. The Committee reports to and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors. It provides advice to the President & CEO and does not direct staff. The Committee functions in an advisory capacity and does not engage in operational decision-making. The Board of Directors will appoint the Committee Chair. The President & CEO will serve as non-voting ex-officio member. Collectively, members should bring experience in one or more of the following areas: -Fundraising and philanthropy -Community engagement or stakeholder relations -Marketing, communications, or brand management |
