| Description of Duties: | Looking for a fun way to volunteer without a long term commitment? We run three fundraisers throughout the year and we are always looking for volunteers to help with one or all of them! We run a Family New Year's Eve Party on Dec 31st that needs volunteers to help set up and clean up, as well as help serve food and run activity stations during the event. This event is one evening only, usually from 5 till 7:30. We also run a February Prize Calendar fundraiser that needs volunteers to call local businesses and ask for door prize donations. This type of volunteer work can be done anytime during the day or evening and run during the month of January. We also have our Teddy Bear Picnic each year, on the first weekend of June. This event runs 11 - 2 at a local park and we are always looking for volunteers to help greet families, run facepaint stations, blow bubbles, take pictures and serve food. |
