| Organizational Description: | Regenesis Centre for Recovery is a 2SLGBTQ+ recovery program located in Winnipeg Manitoba. RCR's mission is to acknowledge the role of oppression based on identity and its effect on addiction and mental health. By increasing accessibility of trauma-informed care through evidence-based practice, we aim to cater our program to those who have historically been under-resourced in these areas of healthcare. We are a nonprofit live-in recovery facility governed by an active volunteer board of directors and are currently seeking a Treasurer to join the Board. Our vision is to provide care based on four unique pillars: The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the financial health and integrity of the organization. This includes ensuring proper financial management, reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations. Remote Volunteering , Flexible Hours We meet once per month in the evening, usually virtually with occasional in person meetings required. Board Directors may also be asked to join various committee's as part of their duties, which requires varying availability. |
