About the Opportunity
Peer Connections Manitoba is excited to be part of the Winnipeg Tattoo Show as a charity of choice. This is a great opportunity to connect with the community, raise awareness about mental health, and support peer-based programs across Manitoba.


We're looking for friendly and reliable volunteers to help staff our table throughout the event.


Volunteers will:



  • Represent Peer Connections Manitoba in a welcoming and approachable way

  • Engage with attendees and share information about our programs and services

  • Sell raffle tickets to support our organization

   
Skills Required:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable speaking with the public in a busy event setting

  • Friendly, approachable, and reliable

  • Interest in community work or mental health is an asset

The event runs over three days:



  • Friday, May 1: 1:00 PM - 12:00 AM

  • Saturday, May 2: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

  • Sunday, May 3: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM


Volunteer shifts are 3 hours long, and volunteers can sign up for one or more shifts based on their availability.


Our current shift openings include:



  • Friday, May 1: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 10:00 PM - 12:00 AM

  • Saturday, May 2: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, 8:00 PM - 11:00 PM

  • Sunday, May 3: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
