Organizational Description: The Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) was created in 1982 to coordinate the operation of youth soccer within the City of Winnipeg and its surrounding areas. Through the assistance of its member organizations, WYSA has created and operates league structures for participants aged 9 to 18. WYSA currently operates a U9 - U18 Recreational League, U9 - U12 Developmental League, U13 - U17 Premier League, and an Indoor High School Soccer League. Additionally, WYSA offers other events every year such as the Boston Pizza Players Tournament, the Prairie Showcase, and the Golden Boy Indoor Soccer Tournament, along with the Mobile Mini Soccer Program. The ultimate goal of WYSA is to make soccer available to all youth participants with an opportunity to play the beautiful game in an environment commensurate with their skills and interests.

Description of Duties:

The 2026 Boston Pizza Players Tournament is a soccer tournament that runs 5 days from May 27th - May 31st at the John Blumberg Park Soccer Fields!


Please note that there are no Winnipeg Transit routes available to and from John Blumberg Park.


Duties include:


Signing teams in before first games, distributing team packages, collecting game sheets, ensuring smooth operations, setting up, tearing down


Other duties as assigned if capable.

Strong personable skills, very minimal understanding of technology is an asset but not required
