| Description of Duties: | The Gimli International Film Festival (GIFF) is celebrating its 26th anniversary, marking a legacy of bringing people together on the shores of Lake Winnipeg to experience film, storytelling, and community. As Manitoba's premier film festival, GIFF showcases bold and diverse cinema while creating a vibrant cultural gathering rooted in connection, creativity, and place. GIFF is governed by a non-working Board, focused on strategic planning, oversight, and long-term sustainability. Board members help guide the organization's future, strengthen community connections, and support the continued growth of the festival. We are currently seeking new members to join our volunteer Board of Directors, with a particular need for a Treasurer. |
| Skills Required: | We're looking for thoughtful, engaged individuals who care about community, culture, and the future of GIFF. We are especially interested in people with experience in: 1. Financial management (Treasurer role) 2. Fundraising and sponsorship 3. Marketing and audience development 4. Board governance 5. Business or entrepreneurial
