Volunteer Opportunity: Event Support - Earth Day Celebration & Youth Video Challenge

Date: Sunday, April 26, 2026


Event Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Setup: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Tear Down: Begins at 4:00 PM


Time Commitment: 2-hour shifts




About the Event



Join us for a vibrant Earth Day Celebration and the Youth Video Challenge Awards! This exciting event brings together students, educators, families, and community members to celebrate youth-led climate action through film, interactive activities, and community connection.



We're expecting 150+ attendees for the awards ceremony and hundreds more throughout the day, making this a high-energy, inspiring event you won't want to miss!





Volunteer Roles Available



Event Greeters & Silent Auction Support



4 positions | 2-hour shifts




  • Welcome and direct guests as they arrive

  • Help create a warm, inclusive, and energetic atmosphere

  • Support the silent auction table (answer questions, monitor items, assist with bidding)

  • Provide general event information





Setup & Take Down Crew



4 positions | 2-hour shifts




  • Assist with event setup (tables, chairs, signage, materials)

  • Help prepare activity stations and event spaces

  • Support efficient take-down and cleanup after the event

  • Work as part of a team to ensure smooth event flow





Photo Booth Setup & Support



2 positions | 2-hour shifts




  • Help set up and take down the climate pledge photo booth

  • Encourage guests to participate and take photos

  • Keep the space organized and fun

  • Assist with props and general engagement





Social Media Volunteers



2 positions | 2-hour shifts




  • Capture photos and short videos throughout the event

  • Highlight key moments (youth films, awards, activities, crowd energy)

  • Assist with live posting on social media (Instagram stories, reels, etc.)

  • Help amplify youth voices and community impact
