Organizational Description: B'nai Brith Canada opened a new thrift store. We function as a regular thrift shop, open to the public, with every purchase directly supporting our most vulnerable community through a variety of programs.

Description of Duties:

Tea Time


An invitation to serve your community


We would love to invite you to join us for a special Afternoon Tea at Kavod Thrift Store to learn about our volunteer opportunities and the impact of our work in the community.


Date: Sunday, April 19


Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM (drop in anytime during these hours)


Where: 531 Notre Dame Ave


Guests will enjoy a guided tour of the store, along with behind-the-scenes look at all the magic happens. Light refreshments will be served, and attendees will have the opportunity to connect with our staff and volunteers, ask questions, and learn how they can get involved.

  • Store hours: Sunday-Tuesday, Thursday-Friday from 10am - 5pm

  • The store will be closed on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and on certain holidays



Two shifts:



  • 9:45 AM to 1:30 PM

  • 1:30 PM to 5:15 PM



  • We ask volunteers to commit to at least one full weekly shift
