| Organizational Description: | Extra Life (extra-life.org) is an official program of the Children's Miracle Network, Extra Lifers in Manitoba (extralifewpg.com) fundraise for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. We have official support from CHFM and work with dedicated representatives at the hospital foundation. We play video games, board games, table-top RPGs, etc to raise money. Participants in Extra Life do individual or team fundraising. Extra Life Winnipeg Guild members go above and beyond - our group attends and hosts community engagement events to promote awareness of Extra Life, encourage sign-ups, and run fundraising activities. |

| Description of Duties: | The Extra Life Winnipeg Guild (extralifewpg.com) raises funds for the Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba by playing games (video games, board games, TCGs, TTRPGs, etc), participating in community outreach and fundraising activities at local events. In 2025, Extra Lifers in Manitoba raised over $92,000 for CHFM and the program is still growing! We have raised over $870,000 since 2012. We are seeking a volunteer able to take professional quality photos and video footage during our Extra Life North event on August 8 & 9, 2026, taking place at Launch Co-Working Downtown. Bonus Points (optional, but strongly desired): Using the photo and video footage from the event to create a short promotional video we can use to promote to potential sponsors in future years. Interested applicants, please be sure to submit a portfolio or examples of your work with your application (applications without concrete examples will not be considered). |

| Time Commitment: | Weekend , Flexible Hours This is a one-time engagement, though there may be opportunities for future events for interested applicants. Volunteer must be able to commit to attending Extra Life North at Launch Co-Working Downtown on August 8 & 9, 2026. Approximate hours each day: 9:00AM - 6:00PM. (Lunch, drinks, and snacks will be supplied) Creating the promotional video afterwards is flexible for schedule and timeline. |
