Description of Duties:

Pavilion Volunteer tasks could include:



  • Admissions Attendant

  • Guest Services/Parking Lot Attendant

  • Beverage Services

  • Food Preparation and/or Food Line Services

  • Green Team/Eco-Initiatives

  • Table Servers

  • Video/Sound Tech

  • Cultural Display

  • Souvenirs Attendant

  • Pavilion Set Up/Take Down

   
Skills Required:

  • Friendly and outgoing personality

  • Punctual and reliable

  • Comfortable interacting and speaking with members of the public (children and adults)

  • Flexible availability

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

  • Must have access to reliable transportation within city limits

  • Able to withstand long periods of time on your feet

  • Experience with customer service is an asset

  • Previous volunteer experience is an asset

  • Valid First Aid, Smart Choices, or Food Handlers' certifications are considered assets

Pavilion venue locations will be announced in the spring.


Once your volunteer application is submitted and forwarded to participating Pavilions, those interested in your application may contact you directly to schedule an interview. Please note that once your application has been sent to a Pavilion, that Pavilion will be responsible for the interview process, volunteer scheduling, and providing any required training or orientation.


Volunteer schedules may vary from Pavilion to Pavilion. Please speak to your Pavilion Coordinator once contacted for a position to confirm your schedule.
