| Description of Duties: | Do you want to be involved with one of Winnipeg's premier professional choirs? We need help with "Front of House". Duties would include * contacting the venue to ensure that enough tables are set up for the concert (four concerts each year; October, December, March and May) * contacting our list of available ushers for each concert (4 each year) to make sure they are available. Searching new ushers if necessary. * attending the concert and overseeing the ushers to ensure that patrons are greeted on arrival and seated efficiently. Ensuring that all patrons are ticket holders. |
| Skills Required: | Skills necessary would include: * organizational skills; able to contact the venue prior to concerts and arrange for tables. Able to contact ushers to arrange for them to be at the concert. * reliability; the choir will be relying on the successful candidate to be at the concert, and to ensure that entry for patrons runs smoothly. * communication skills; be able to communicate clearly with patrons. * problem solving skills; be able to address questions from patrons, and either solve questions or refer them to a staff member who can help them. |
