Description of Duties:

Location: Remote (Manitoba-based rescue)


Whisker Warriors Manitoba is seeking a creative and passionate Volunteer Marketing & Graphic Design Coordinator to help us share our mission, promote adoptable cats, and grow community support.


As a foster-based rescue, we rely heavily on strong visuals and engaging posts to reach potential adopters, fosters, and donors. This role is perfect for someone who loves design, storytelling, and making a real difference for animals.


As a Marketing and Graphic Design Coordinator, we would value your expertise in:



  • Create eye-catching social media graphics (adoption posts, fundraisers, urgent foster calls, thank-you posts)

  • Design posters, event graphics, and promotional materials

  • Help develop consistent branding across platforms

  • Assist with content planning and campaign ideas

  • Edit photos of cats to make them stand out (lighting, cropping, simple enhancements)

  • Collaborate with the rescue team to highlight urgent cases and success stories

   
Skills Required:

  • Passionate about animal welfare

  • Experience with Canva, Adobe, or similar design tools

  • Strong sense of visual branding and layout

  • Creative, reliable, and able to meet simple deadlines

  • Familiar with Facebook and Instagram marketing (asset but not required)
