Fundraising Coordinator

Location: Manitoba (Remote with some local collaboration)

Whisker Warriors Manitoba is a dedicated, foster-based cat rescue committed to saving homeless, abandoned, feral, and at-risk cats and kittens across Manitoba. We are currently seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to help us expand our impact and support the growing number of cats in need.

The Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator will play a key role in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising initiatives that directly support veterinary care, spay/neuter efforts, food, and supplies for cats in our care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative fundraising campaigns (online and in-person)


• Coordinate events such as product fundraisers, auctions, raffles, and community drives in collaboration with current fundraising team members


• Seek sponsorships, partnerships, and donation opportunities from local businesses


• Assist with grant research and applications (if applicable)


• Collaborate with the rescue team to promote fundraisers on social media


• Track and report on fundraising progress with assistance from other team members

Skills Required/Ideal Candidate

• Passionate about animal welfare and rescue work


• Organized, self-motivated, and dependable


• Strong communication and community outreach skills


• Experience in fundraising, event planning, marketing, or nonprofit work is an asset (but not required)


• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Every dollar raised helps provide life-saving vet care and safe foster homes for vulnerable cats and kittens. As a foster-based rescue, we rely entirely on community support. Your efforts will directly reduce the overpopulation burden of homeless and feral cats in Manitoba and help more cats find loving forever homes.
