Whisker Warriors Manitoba is a dedicated, foster-based cat rescue committed to saving homeless, abandoned, feral, and at-risk cats and kittens across Manitoba. We are currently seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator to help us expand our impact and support the growing number of cats in need.


The Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator will play a key role in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising initiatives that directly support veterinary care, spay/neuter efforts, food, and supplies for cats in our care.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement creative fundraising campaigns (online and in-person)

  • Coordinate events such as product fundraisers, auctions, raffles, and community drives in collaboration with current fundraising team members

  • Seek sponsorships, partnerships, and donation opportunities from local businesses

  • Assist with grant research and applications (if applicable)

  • Collaborate with the rescue team to promote fundraisers on social media

  • Track and report on fundraising progress with assistance from other team members

   
Skills Required:

  • Passionate about animal welfare and rescue work

  • Organized, self-motivated, and dependable

  • Strong communication and community outreach skills

  • Experience in fundraising, event planning, marketing, or nonprofit work is an asset (but not required)

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
