Description of Duties:

  • Lead team members to research for fundraising opportunities

  • Work with team members to develop creative ideas for fundraising​

  • Promote fundraising initiatives through outreach, presentations, and engagement activities

  • Plan, organize, and support fundraising events and campaigns to help meet financial goals

  • Communicate with sponsors, and community partners to build and maintain positive relationships

  • Track donations, maintain accurate records, and prepare updates or reports as needed

  • Represent the organization professionally at events and in the community
   
Skills Required:

  • Experience in event planning.

  • Experience working with a committee.

  • Have some fundraising experience.

  • An asset: Experience working in a non-profit setting.

  • Willing to volunteer approximately 1 hours per week.
   
Skills Gained/Related Careers:

  • Understand and experienced working with a committee for fundraising for a non-profit organization.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Fluent in spoken and written English
