Description of Duties:

The Live Event Streamer will be responsible for broadcasting competitions live on YouTube, allowing families, fans, and the community to watch events in real time. This role supports event visibility and accessibility by managing the live stream setup, camera operation, and basic stream monitoring throughout the event.


Duties include:



  • Setting up and operating live streaming equipment

  • Streaming events live using YouTube

  • Monitoring the stream for quality, audio, and connection stability

  • Starting and ending broadcasts at appropriate times

  • Coordinating with event organizers to follow the event schedule

  • Troubleshooting basic technical issues as needed

   
Skills Required:



  • Basic knowledge of YouTube Live

  • Comfort using a smartphone, camera, or computer for streaming

  • Strong attention to detail and reliability

  • Ability to manage simple technical setups

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to stay focused for extended periods


Prior streaming experience is an asset
